Study of a Greenhouse Gas Emissions Cap for the Oil and Gas Sector  

The committee is examining how an emissions cap could be designed and implemented, as well as various related issues. These issues include Canada’s ability to meet its climate commitments, the role of carbon capture, utilization and sequestration, and the potential effects of an emissions cap. The committee will report its conclusions to the House of Commons.

Study of an Emissions Reduction Fund - Onshore Program 

This study focused on a Government of Canada program, the ERF Onshore Program, that aims to reduce methane emissions in the oil and gas sector.
